Not only does it look like a fancy, back splash or a border, but it's because we had to cut the entire. You know the sides, so we had to cover it up. So this is what we did and also the old back splash was that high. So when we ripped the old counter top out, there were lots of you know problems back there.
Now I measured from there's a wall here and a wall there and I measured and it came out to like 48 inches, but um like this piece is granite. This is a black granite and it comes with the built-in sink. This I purchased at Home Depot and I believe it was around $ 200, but I'm not sure if it was 200 to 250 - something like that, but it was under $ 300 and it came with the sink.
The only thing I had to do was get the faucets so that I got separately not really expensive, either and um the when I, when we installed this, we ripped up the old counter top and when we installed this, we realized that you know point that the wall, It was too short the counter top, so we actually had to cut the wall a little bit and slide the counter top into place. So this is why you see that there are these glass tiles over here.
